---------------------
JOHANN ADAM BLANK (b.1705- d. Sept. 1765). Known as Hans Adam, he was born in Frankenthal, Palatinate, Germany. He was baptized on 22 March 1705 in Frankenthal. He's likely to have emigrated from Germany to PA some time prior to 1727, since he is not listed on any ship arrivals after 1727. However, not all passengers from every ship arriving after 1727 are available to us.

A Johan Adam Plank is listed as one who owned land and paid quit-rents prior to 1734. He first farmed in Montgomery County, PA and then moved to Salisbury Township, Northampton Co., PA.
The children are listed below are from his first marriage (wife's name unknown). After her death, he married Anna Margreta Weiland on 30 November 1758. Adam and Anna were active in the Western Salisbury Lutheran Church and in 1760, they presented a pewter baptismal dish to the congregation.

General Notes: Husband -

Sebastian and his family were members of the Lutheran Church inGermany.

This info from swissroots@juno.com (Richard E. Miller) to Joan HB@aol.com
Joan sent the papers to me 4 Sep 1999

Sebastian & his wife, Mary E., lived in Frankenthal, Palatinate, Germany, about ten Km west of Manheim and eleven km southwest of Worms. The name "Blanck" beans 'white complexion' & sometimes appeared in the US as Blank, Planck, or Plank.

The famous Frankenthal Disputation, called by the Palatinate Elector, Frederick III, took place there 28 May to 19 June 1571 between the established Church (Calvinism) and the Anabaptists. Sebastian & Mary were members of the LUtheran Church.

Sebastian & Mary were the parents of Johan Valentin (1700), Paulus (1702), JOHAN ADAM (1705), Catherine (1707), Maria Catherine (1709), Johannes (1712), and Anna Helena (1715).
