4/5/1996 LTR FROM DEAN PRATT RIN=2124 SENDS OPAL CAMEWRONS WORK SAYS HENRY WAS A FARMER.
3/24/2003 VISITED LIBERTY METHODIST CHURCH CEMETERY LOCATED NW OF sHELBYVILLE ON HWY 9 TO RAOD 650N TURN RIGHT, GO 1 MILE. HENRY BASS IS BURRIED IN THIS CEMETERY WITH HIS FIRST WIFE. MANY OLD STONES LAY IN DECOMPOSED STATE AND COULD NOT VERIFY THAT ELIZABETH HARSIN BASS WAS BURRIED THERE, ALTHOUGH IT IS GENERALLY KNOWN IN THE FAMILY THAT SHE IS BURRIED IN THE BASS FAMILY PLOT. I LOCATED TWO PLOTS AND OTHER STONES WITH THE BASS NAME IN THIS CEMETERY. HENRY CAN BE FOUND IN THE SECOND BASS PLOT FROM THE HARD ROAD AND TO THE LEFT OF THE SOUTH GRASS ROAD. IT IS A STONE THAT REACHES 6 FEET UPWARD IN A SPEAR WITH A PYRAMIDED HEAD. THERE WERE MANY OLD STONES SITTING UP AGAINST TREE TRUNKS AND NOT IN THEIR ORIGINAL LOCATIONS. I WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE A LEGIBLE STONE WITH ELIZABETH BASS NAME ON IT.
