OBIT OF jUNE 1955 SAYS" ETTA LEONA HARSIN, 75, OF 3605 BROADWAY, DIED MONDAY AFTERNOON AT ST ELIZABETH HOSPITAL. MRS HARSIN WAS BORN IN PUTNAM COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA ON APRIL 1, 1880. SHE CAME TO OREGON WITH HER PARENTS WHEN SHE WAS 12 YEARS OF AGE. THE FAMILY SETTLED IN COVE WHERE SHE LIVED UNTIL HER MARRAIGE TO WILLARD CLAYTON HARSIN. THEY WERE MARRIED IN UNION, OREGON ON AUGUST 22, 1898. MR. AND MRS. HARSIN LIVED AT MEDICAL SPRINGS ON THE FARM HE HAD HOMESTEADED IN 1871. IN 1938 THEY RETIRED AND MOVED TO BAKER. MR HARSIN PRECEEDED HER IN DEATH ON JANUARY 19, 1955. MRS.
