Kelly had: Mary Magdalene, Ellen, Samuel, Catharine Elizabeth, James Frederick. She wants the correct names, dates, marriages of this brood. Especially Mary Blank m. William Frederick Geyer, dotter Charlotte Ann Geyure m. William Shepherd, their dotter Charlotta "Lottie" Shepherd m. Percy Dewight Brotherton. All from Auglaize Co., exdept for the Brothertons - they came vrom Beaver Co., PA into the areas of Cincinnati and Reading, Ohio.

Last Will and Testament of Jacon Blank.
I Jacob Blank do make and publish this my last will and testament.
First, it is my will that my just debts and all charges be paid out of my estate.
Item 1st. I give and devise to my wife Sarah all my land, being the farm of 120 acres on which I now reside in Moultin Township, Auglaize County, Ohio to hold as long as she may live.
Item 2nd I give and devise to my wife Sarah all the residue of my property, > money or claims of whatever kind that I may possess at the time of my death.
Item 3rd. I give and devise to my children Mary Magdalene, Ellen, Samuel, Catharine Elizabeth, Simon Peter, Francis Marion and George William, that each one of them may after the death of my wife Sarah have an equal share of my farm, as well as of any other property of whatever kind that may be left at the death of my wife. Item 4th I appoint and make my wife Sarah executrix of this my last will and testament.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 27th day of August in the year 1862.

Jacob died 29 Aug 1862 in Union Township, Auglaize Co., Ohio - he was only
36 (I'm pretty sure I've seen the obituary on this one, it rather 'rings a
bell') Nudge me later and remind me to see if I can find it for you.
I have only one child listed for him but have not pursued this family -
they run alongside mine.
Son: George William BLANK b.5 Mar 1862 in Moulton Township, Auglaize Co.,
Ohio.

John George Blank, possibly the oldest son the the pioneer, Adam, was born in 1729, and died in Upper Saucon township in 1799. He was married to Elizabeth, a daughter of Valentine Steinmetz, and after the death of his father-in-law succeeded to and settled upon his estate. He died in April, 1799. The will refers to him as a yeoman considerable advanced in years. Items of the will follow: My son George shall have my farm in Upper Saucon, containing 366 acres. My daughters Barbara, Magdalena and Elizabeth each shall have eight hundred pounds of lawful money. The sum of eight hundred pounds shall be equally divided between Elizabeth and Catharine Gerhardt, my granddaughters. The will was made October 20, 1798, and was probated at Easton in Will Book III page 167, on May 14, 1799.
